    I want to change from Office 365 to one time purchase of Office 2021 non-subscription. I don't have access to my documents on Word now since Ofc365 expired. I was told by IT person and online to delete MS Office 365 and use key from Office 2021 since both programs can't be run at the same time. How do I save my photos from the Windows Photos App63.7GB of 5GB used and the other programs I've saved things under with MS programs, especially documents. ? I'm on Windows 11

    You indicate you have a subscription to Office, what version did you purchase, is that the subscription based Microsoft 365, or did you pay for the one-time payment version of Office 2021?

    The one-time payment version of Office 2021 can only be installed on one device at a time, but the subscription based Microsoft 365 version of Office can be installed on all your devices and used on up to 5 devices at the same time and also comes with 1TB of OneDrive storage.

    Office 2016 or Office 365

    Hi Alison,

    365 is a subscription based product, you can sign up for that on your Microsoft Account either on a monthly or yearly subscription, or the Office 2021 edition is a one-time payment

    If you want to use Office 365 or 2021, you should uninstall Office 2016, because both versions will conflict with each other.

    Go to Login | Microsoft 365 and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in

    On that page under your info, check the status of your subscription to Office 365

    If that checks out, click this link and run through the Office activation troubleshooter:

    If that does not resolve this for you, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

    Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

    Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

    On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation, including activation . . .
