Windows 10: I want to learn more about computers!!!!

I want to learn more about computers so I'm wondering what books I should buy or classes I should buy to learn more!! I'm wanting to basically learn how to fix problems that may arise on computers to fix them!! I would also just like to learn more basic things about computers. I learned how to build computers and how to put the hardware side together but I've never been good at i guess the software side of things and being able to do a lot of tasks on the computer besides the basics !! So yeah what could you recommend to help me learn more about fixing problems that may arise on your computer

Thanks for the suggestion, but i would also like to learn more about computers.
My education is in another country so it's not financial feasable to send just a Cd, i probably should add some snacks to the list.

 

Learning method

Trial and error is always the best, but you need to get an idea of what you need to do in order to use trial and error. I would start out with tutorials, and maybe a textbook for reference.

All the methods you listed are great ways to learn. Each person learns differently than the other. The individual that is trying to learn needs to figure out which learning method is best suited for them, and they can figure that out with trial and error with the methods you listed. *Toast :toast:

 

What to do in Ubuntu ?

I'm new to this Linux and its variants.

For the first time I'm stepping out of coziness of Windows . What do you guys use Linux for ?

Also I'm in college, will be doing Computer Science Engineering (Programming) . Anything to learn you guys can suggest ?

Already know a bit of C++, Photoshop.
