Windows 10: I want to switch of tablet mode in Windows 11 as it seems to hide my cursor when working in...

When using Sage Payroll in Windows 11 on atouchscreen lap top the cursor becomes invisible. I understand that this may be because it is in tablet mode which I am unable to switch off. Can anybody offer a solution

Perform the following steps:

1. In the Search box, type tablet.

2. Touch or click Tablet Mode Settings (System Settings).

3. Several options will appear.

• Make Windows better adapt to touch gestures when using the device as a tablet. Switching between on or off using the switches allows you to switch from desktop to tablet mode and vice versa.

• When I log in. Using the drop-down menu, you will be offered three options on how the device will work if it has been started.

• Remember what I used last time.

• Go to the desk.

• Automatically switch to tablet mode.

• When the device automatically activates or deactivates the tablet mode.

• Ask before changing.

• Do not ask and do not change.

• Do not ask and always change.

• In tablet mode, hide the application icons in the taskbar. Switching between on and off using the switches allows you to hide and show the icons in the taskbar.

This will hide the taskbar if your device is in tablet mode. You can switch to tablet mode by touching the notifications button in the lower right corner of your desktop and then pressing the "tablet mode" button.

The 2-in-1 device cannot switch to tablet mode

Please go back and try ALL fixes I gave for tablet mode not working in Windows 11. Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

  What happens when you try to turn on the tablet mode?

  Did you receive any error message?

  Did you install any third party security application?
  
• 
  Which is the build currently installed on the tablet?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to download and install any pending updates that needs to be installed on the computer through Windows update and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

As a work around, I suggest you to try to switch it on by following the below steps:

1. Select the horizontal stripes icon (All Apps) on the bottom left corner of the screen.

2. Select Settings on the menu.

3. Go to System and then click on Tablet Mode.

4. Turn the option ON.

5. Close the window.
