Windows 10: I was forced to exit S Mode. Please read all.

This Asus VivoBook laptop is brand new so I don't know why I'm having problems already. I'm learning how much i don't like windows 10 too. : anyways. I couldn't click on ANYTHING when a message popped up that said something like do I want to switch out of s mode? and the only 3 options to click on were CLOSE, DETAILS which provided no useful information and CLIPBOARD or COPY TO CLIPBOARD which i tried and obviously it didn't help. I tried closing everything including website tabs and rebooting and that didn't help. kept popping up. So I feel like I was FORCED out of S Mode and I even had to c

Thank you for responding.

I suggest you to try the below steps to exit from the Safe mode on Windows 10.

Steps to place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

After I was forced to update on 4/27, my computer will not let me exit Safe Mode.

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things.

• Which KB update was installed on your computer?
• What happens when you try to exit from safe mode?
• Are you getting any error message?

I suggest you to follow the steps to come out of Safe mode as below and check if it helps.

• Log in to safe mode.
• Press "Windows" + "R" key.
• Type "msconfig" and select "Boot" tab.
• Uncheck "Safe boot" and select "OK".
• Now restart your device. Your device will boot in normal boot.
