Windows 10: I2C HID Device. Code 10: A request for the HID descriptor failed.

I have a Huawei Matebook D from 2017. For one year periodically the driver for the HID I2C device failed. Sometimes like magic, it comes back to work again. It always affects the touchpad accessory functions and gestures and usually, I fix this functionality with a USB mouse. However in the strongest situations, the cursor turns crazy and does click where it shouldn't do, and I lose control of it independently of the kind of mouse device I was using.



I tried to erase registry upper and lower filters as some post recommend, restarting it, updating.... but I don't know until today what its the cause-effect pathway an I cannot fix it. Almost, after going to official support of Huawei and changing the entire touchpad and set the computer from zero, it follows giving problems to me, and it didn't fix this issue.


The HUAWEI time has confirmed to me that IT IS NOT A HARDWARE PROBLEM and that drivers depend on Windows.


When I think it is solved, after a week or some re-starts it comes back to fail.


Please help me. Could it be an incompatibility with Microsoft updates or whatever..... It would be the fourth time I re-format the computer and I am sure that it's not the solution.

I2C HID

I am having a dell inspiron 5575 laptop .Today it encountered an error i.e the touch pad is not working properly although i had tried to update and reinstall the compatable mouse driver.The second one is the I2C HID interface is showing a yellow mark and
code 10,device can not start.A request for the descriptor failed. What should i do now? What are the solutions? Please help me out from this problem.

I2C HID Driver

Hi, recently I brought Lenovo Yoga 330 which description should have a multi touch input. But when I checked in the Device Manager the HID Compliat Touch Screen were gray and based on some suggestion, I try to uninstall it but it never recover. Then suddenly
there is two I2C HID, but the other one has an error code 10 "This device cannot start. A request for the HID descriptor failed."

Here's the problem, I can't find any driver that compatible with my yoga 330. is there any solution for this problem? hope the pict helped! thankyouuuu

 

I2C HID driver error 10 - Touchpad and touchsceen not working

I have got Asus UX360UAK. Last month touchscreen and touchpad stopped working. In device manager is following error: Device: I2C Controller Device status: Can't run this device(code 10) A request for the HID descriptor
failed. I tried restart, update driver and system update but it didn't helped. i tryied everything i know. Please help!
