Windows 10: i7-6600U processor in Windows 11

Discus and support i7-6600U processor in Windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My Surface Book 2 has a i7-6600U processor and it automatically upgraded to Windows 11 a few months ago.     i7-6600U processor in Windows 11


    My Surface Book 2 has a i7-6600U processor and it automatically upgraded to Windows 11 a few months ago. Now it's back to Windows 10 and I can't make it go back to W11 because "i7-6600U processor is not compatible??" So, why did it upgrade automatically before?

    Not only you many users are having i7 6th 7th gen based system, but few users are installed windows 11 on i7 7th and on i5 7th gen based system. Upgrade from Win10 to Win11 is not possible, by using advanced tricks, win 11 can be installed as fresh.

    I installed windows 11 on an intel i5 7200U processor laptop.

    i7-6600U processor not compatible with windows11?

    This is frustrating and irritating to see that i7 6th and 7th gen processors are not compatible for windows 11 upgrade. This is not convenient to change high end machines just after 4-5years just to make compatible with upgraded OS. Quite disappointed with MS.

    Windows 11 and Intel i7-7600U processor

    I know that Intel i7-7600U processor is not in the compatibility list of Windows 11 automatic upgrade, but I have read that it will be possibile to install Windows 11 on those processors starting from an ISO file. Is it true? If not it will be supported lately?
