i7-7700 is on the updated list of compatable cpu's, yet the health check says not compatable. Is the pc health check not updated?

i7-7700 CPU with 3.60 GHZ not supported??

I have i7-7700 CPU with 3.60 GHZ. PC Health Check app checks all the requirements as compatible, but fails with CPU not supported. Is this CPU number a miss from the list? I see many other i7 (7800X, 8700, 9700) as supported. Wondering why 7700 is left out from the list.

 

Windows 11 not compatable with i7-7700

PC Health check says my "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz" is not compatible with Windows 11.

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H1

Will Windows 11 support this processor in the near future? Why are older/lower performing processors supported?

 

PC health check says I don't have a compatible CPU for upgrade to Windows 11

PC health check says I don't have a compatible CPU for upgrade to Windows 11, but I can find my CPU listed in the 'compatible CPU' list on Microsoft website?

Here is my CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ @ 2.60GHz

I'm running Windows 10 Home 21H1

In the list of compatible CPU's there is this :

In PC health check my system gets a pass for all other criteria - RAM, SSD space etc.

Does anybody know what is amiss here?
