Windows 10: Icons Missing

I recently tried to install a MacOs Sierra theme on Windows 10 Home 1809 - I didn't like it so I removed the theme and all of the theme files. Afterwards I restarted my PC and noticed that the file explorer options hadn't changed. I tried deleting the iconcache.db and that didn't work either. I tried sfc /scannow and that didn't work either! Now the folder icons won't show up in file explorer and I am starting to wonder if the theme was some sort of virus. I do have Avast virus protection though and it didn't find anything odd. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.
