Windows 10: Icons on the taskbar got weird.

Since 2-3 days ago, the icons on the taskbar began to act weird. First off, the volume icon was missing. So, I researched it and found a solution. It said that open the taskbar setting window and check select which icons appear on the taskbar. There were toggle buttons and all of them were on. I tried to turn off and on again and found they began switching on and off. Let me give you an example to describe better.


eg) The state that volume button is missing:

I turned off the volume toggle and on again, and the wifi icon was disappeared.


eg2) The state that wifi icon is missing:

I turned off the wifi toggle and on again, and the power icon was disappeared.


eg3) The state that power icon is missing:

I turned off the power toggle and on again, and the volume icon was disappeared.


As you can see, they are on and off with rotation. I also uninstalled the software which I installed in 2-3 days, but nothing was fixed. I tried every solution on the web, but none of them worked.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Taskbar icons

Hi,

To address your concern, follow the steps below on how to show hidden icons on the taskbar.

• Open Settings, and click on the Personalization
  icon.
• Click on Taskbar on the left side, and click on the
  Select which icons appear on the taskbar link under the Notification area section on the right.
• Turn on Always show all icons in the notification area at the top

How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the "eConnect by Harris School Solutions"
from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.
