  1. Icons on Windows 11 Home Screen Not Moving Correctly

Hi,I'm unsure if this is the correct place to put this but I am having issues with my Windows 11 home screen icons. I typically have my icons meticulously organized, however after this last update they were all put into the middle of my screen. When I went to replace them in the correct spots, I found that they would refuse to go in certain spots i.e, the corners of my screen, never an issue before or would automatically swap with other icons that were right next to where I tried to place them. Essentially, they would not go where I wanted them to seemingly at random and this has never been

    Desktop Icon Keeps On Moving

That's because your resolution is changing each time. To test, try setting to 1024x768, arrange a couple of icons and then restart the PC. As long as the resolution after startup is still 1024x768, then the icons won't move. Trust me. *Wink Icons on Windows 11 Home Screen Not Moving Correctly ;)

    Desktop Icon Keeps On Moving

I see. I was using a 23" monitor before and the highest resolution was below 1080p so I guess windows remembers that monitors resolution right? I have tried de.das.dude suggestion, but everytime I turn off the computer after arranging the icons it goes back to misarranging the icons.
