  2. Event ID 10317

    I saw this article:

Event 10317 when turning on mobile broadband device - Windows Client

However it does not apply to my situation as my situation relates to a wireless LAN that connects to a wired LAN and is not connecting to mobile broadband connection.

    The content of the error:

Miniport Qualcomm QCA61x4A 802.11ac Wireless Adapter, {ef1507ea-0a55-4ee0-baae-35605d74c10f}, had event Fatal error: The miniport has detected an internal error

This is a Dell Laptop. Using their Support Assist tool to detect driver updates this is what was recommended:

ID 10317 Network cards issue a4798914-eaa6-4876-b19f-82928ac400a2?upload=true.png

Once these drivers and the BIOS was updated the issue still occurred.

Additionally I ran the report found in this article:

    Analyze the wireless network report

The report said, "No WLAN events were found on this system."

Not sure where to go. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Network card issues

I gave all of these a go and unfortunately it hasn't resolved the issue. When I just turned on the PC again I had to go into Device Manager and select 'scan for hardware changes' to get the network card to be detected.
