Windows 10: Idle Restart - automatice login

When my computer has been idle for awhile it goes to sleep. When I restart it (move the mouse, Escape Key) I get the picture with a clock, I have to click, then I get the login screen, and now I have to login. I'm the only user and don't use any passwords. How can I avoid these screens and just return to my session?

No Login Screen after being Idle

Only recently has the login screen not popped up after my laptop has been on idle for some time. My only option is to restart my computer. Not only is this annoying but it is very time consuming. What happened and what setting do I need to change?

It sounds like you may have require sign-in on wakeup turned on. See if turning it off (if turned on) using the tutorial below may sort it for you. *Smile

Thank you, it worked after an edit.
- First I had to create a password to set the option.
- I let it idle, sleep, sign-on and it required my password
- Signed in, went back to settings and removed the password
Voila, it works. Crazy, I had to create a password in order to not use one.
