Windows 10: iertutil.dll error.

Not sure if this belongs in this section...build is 20H2 (19042.985), Windows 10 Pro. Getting an error "ierutil.dll is either not designed for windows or it contains an error"...the error code is 0xc0000020. Computer just shut itself off and when it was rebooted, that error popped up. I can't open the start menu from the taskbar but I can open file explorer, edge and firefox. I discovered that my wife had been putting everything on her desktop and filled up the C: drive, a 120GB SSD, instead of using the 2TB HDD. The C: drive showed 8GB so I wonder if it may have caused ierutil.dll to get some corruption. I found that if in task manager I end Onedrive, the error message leaves the screen but the PC doesn't become any more operational. I got the idea because when I hover over the icon for the error it say Onedrive Bad Image. I ran chkdsk /f, it would only run it after a restart. I figured out a keystroke that brought up a dialog where I could select restart, that dam error message was right in the middle of it so it was hard to get restart selected, when I got it to restart it ran through the chkdsk with no problem. I tried running dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth but it fails after a few percent. Next I ran sfc /scannow and it too fails. It won't let me do an in place repair and reinstall from the C: drive (SSD). I booted from a USB windows 10 installation media, tried to repair startup problems, it couldn't find any. I tried every restore point, was only 3, and none worked, they all complained about missing files. It won't let me install over the existing windows version from the USB stick either. I'd kind of like to avoid doing a fresh install so any thoughts, help or directions to help repair the issue would be appreciated.

D3dx9_30.dll Not Found error in Ashes Cricket 2009

Important Note: Do not, under any circumstances, download the d3dx9_30.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are a number of different reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea.

Note: If you've already downloaded d3dx9_30.dll from one of those DLL download sites, remove it from wherever you put it and continue with the following steps.

1. Restart your computer if you haven't yet done so.

The d3dx9_30.dll error might be a fluke or one-time issue and a simple restart could clear it up completely. It's unlikely this will fix the problem, but restarting is always a good first troubleshooting step.

2. Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX 9. Chances are, upgrading to the latest version of DirectX 9 will fix the d3dx9_30.dll not found error.

Note: Microsoft often releases updates to DirectX 9 without updating the version number or letter so be sure to install the latest release even if your version is technically the same.

Note: Are you a Windows Vista user with DirectX 10? Your game or program may still need DirectX 9 files to run properly so give the installation a try. Don't worry, both versions of DirectX can be run side by side in Windows Vista.

3. Assuming the latest DirectX version from Microsoft doesn't fix the d3dx9_30.dll error you're receiving, look for a DirectX installation program on your game or application CD or DVD. Usually, if a game or other program utilizes DirectX, the software developers will include a copy of DirectX on the installation disc.

Sometimes, though not often, the DirectX version included on the disc is a better fit for the program than the latest version available online.

4. Uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again. Something may have happened to the files in the program that work with d3dx9_30.dll and a reinstall could do the trick.

5. Restore the d3dx9_30.dll file from the DirectX 9 software package. If the above troubleshooting steps haven't worked to solve your d3dx9_30.dll error, try extracting the d3dx9_30.dll individually from the DirectX 9 package.

6. Update the drivers for your video card. While it's not the most common solution, in some situations updating the drivers for the video card in your computer could correct this DirectX issue.

DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

.dll error

Hi guys I have problem when I´m installing my Asus NB Probe. I got .dll error and I can´t do anything.
