Windows 10: if i delete a volume will that erase everything. Is so how can I get my files back

I wanted to create a Partition but it didn’t let me. So I deleted the volume and made it a unallocated space. I did this about twice in a row because i didn’t get it the way I wanted at first. I then proceed to see if my files are still there and they weren’t. I tried every recovery software and nun of my files came back. These files are compressed winrar files and folders holding all of my music things like vst’s, plugins, my flp’s/ projects and my audio files. Pretty much my life’s work so if someone could pls help that would be amazing.

Finally! An alternative to eraser...

it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.

 

Why does my login scree offer me windows 10 on volume 2 and also windows 10 on volume 4?

I have the same problem, but both of the Windows 10 copies are on Volume 2, so my PC keeps rebooting without actually going into Windows.How can I erase one?

I suggest you to first stop Volume Shadow Copy service and try to remove the files and check. Follow the steps provided below:

Step 1: Stop Volume Shadow Copy service

• 
  Press Windows logo Key + R key.
  
• 
  Type services.msc.
  
• 
  Search for Volume Shadow Copy service.
  
• 
  Right click on it and select
  Stop.
  

Now, take ownership of the System volume Information folder and then try to delete its contents.

Step 2: File permissions.

• Right click on System volume Information folder.
• Select Properties.
• Go to Security tab.
• Select the user name.
• Click on Edit button.
• Under permission to Authenticated user, check on full control.
• Click on Apply and OK button.
