Windows 10: Im at a loss. Please help me.

So my computer boots fine to the screen where the time and date is displayed.

Here's where it gets weird. If I got any key on my keyboard or click my mouse, no login box appears. What's weirder still is I can't click anywhere on the screen without this happening. Not even Ctrl-Alt-Del works!

I can however use my mouse to pull the time and date back down from the top of the screen.

Also, every once in a while the screen goes black with just my cursor on it and then goes back to normal.

If anyone can help me out, please do!

I would suggest you to run hardware and drivers troubleshooter to help you with the problem.



Try the following steps to run the troubleshooter:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “Hardware and Sound”
  
• 
  Select “Hardware and Devices”
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
