  1. I'm having issues in web browsing

I'm running genuine windows 10. And my default browser is Firefox which is updated to its latest version. I had Google Chrome and have Microsoft Edge too. Recently I was having some issues in firefox. When I'm loading my facebook account it doesn't show up notifications or messages when I click them. But I refreshed the page and then it worked. After that, always I had to refresh the page after my first visit to Facebook. Because of this thing I thought to move on to Google Chrome. It doesn't show my messenger at all. I refreshed the page 100 times without any success. Then I thought to update Chrome. I didn't work either. Later I thought to uninstall Chrome and download the latest version again. I couldn't. Installer tells it can't connect to internet though my connection is very good. Now I don't have chrome in my laptop. Microsoft Edge follows the same way as Firefox do. Now nothing appears on Facebook page except some letters. No images even. I have uploaded a screen shot of it here. Even in my gmail, pictures logos are not shown. They seemed that they can't be loaded. I'm having a terrible issue. Please help me to overcome this if anyone knows how to. [Solved] Web Browsing Timing Out Frequently But Downloads Unaffected

Google DNS is a good thing to test, which is why it is commonly suggested. *Wink I'm having issues in web browsing ;)

As I explained before, ISP DNS servers can cause issues, go down, and not be updated to your device providing DNS. If you want to go a step further, login to your router and set the DNS servers uses and provides over DHCP to the Google DNS and remove the ISP DNS servers. Be done with it.

I also strongly recommend OpenDNS servers for safer browsing, especially if you're not into browsing malicious, porn or questionable sites. 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.222.222. Those are what I use at home...effective DNS filtering to keep many bad sites that are flagged with malware out of your home network and web browsers. Free and effective.

At this point if its working, I'd say use it for a day and see if issues come back...if so then the other things I suggested might be worth looking at.

    Quick DNS 101

DNS = Domain Name Servers... what it does is take what you type in your web browser, or for ping, or some name domain request...take Techpowerup.com. DNS takes that and looks into an index/cache to find out what address it is...say 123.123.123.123 and then sends the reply to the ping session, web browser, etc. so you can go to Techpowerup.com.

DNS is like a phone book, you look up a person's name for their phone number to call them and connect. DNS does that for web sites and services. It is critical for web site usage where everyone can remember domain names, but not IP addresses.

BSOD during web browsing in Chrome

I just upgraded my platform (config below) about week ago, all listed components were new.
After a couple of days I started to receive BSOD's (dump files attached). Till now I encountered them only during watching an online stream on twitch or a youtube video and web browsing.
As the dump files indicate NVIDIA drivers with different errors I tried to do clean install of the newest ones (uninstall using DDU, uninstalling GeForce Experience and so on), but that didn't help.
I have Windows 10 x64 Home with all the latest updates.
It is really strange as for example during gaming (DOOM 2016, Overwatch) I have no issues at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions what to do/check next?

    Nokia E7 web browsing issues

    Hi!

There are a couple of problems with otherwise great browsing:

    • Reading web sites like m.hs.fi (newspaper) where the whole of text block (title and text body) is web link, it is very difficult to browse the page upwards or downwards by swiping without activating the links
(resulting in downloading a linked article and moving there).
    • Controlling the font size of web pages from browser options does not work on most of the web pages I read (m.hs.fi,
m.kauppalehti.fi, for example) only a few allow this (such as
      m.yle.fi,
      www.bbc.co.uk/news/mobile
      ).
    • How to get the bookmarks be the start page? I mean the local file, not storing the bookmarks to the web?
