Windows 10: I'm not able to install windows on newly built pc

just Built a new pc for a friend with exactly the same parts as my own pcwith the exception of the ssd, mine is sata, and the new pc's is nvme. As I try to boot to the windows boot usb, that I created with the media tool gives me an error. I already tried a new usb stick. Both usb sticks work on my pc, but not on the new one. Tried with default bios setitngs and also with the bios settings exactly the same as on my pc since all the components are the same with the exception of the ssd, still did not work. Also as a desperate measure, I tried a linux usb, but still had errors realted to corrupetd files, both with bios defaults or the bios settings as on my pc. The Linux usb also worked on my pc, but not on the new one. I'm sort of desperate, never as such a thing happened to me, I not sure what to do differently. Thanks in advance for any help.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Issues Connecting Newly Built PC to Ethernet

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section but I'm having issues getting my newly built PC connected to the Internet. I have an Ethernet cord plugged into my modem and into my PC but Windows is not detecting a connection. Any help is appreciated.

If this is of any help, my MOBO is an MSI Z97 Gaming 5.

no this isn't the same one mine doesn't have the 6 pin on the top or anywhere.
