Windows 10: I'm stuck in 800×600 resolution

One of my games is stuck in that resolution lately. I checked it in its properties ,but no problem. Some other games go into the resolution, too but could not open and juat give me an error.I alao checked device manager and drivers were shown working properly.More or less, I know the cause. I unistalled graphic drivers' performance management app. Now what can I do?

Resolution stuck on 800 x 600

PC with windows 10. It is stuck on 800 x 600 resolution. I can change it but automatically not switch even when I hit keep. I have tried to change this for over a few months. I have no clue what to do. Please help.

 

Windows 8 Installation Requires 1024*600 Resolution

I have Lenovo S110 with Windows 10 Pro installed. Apparently, Intel GMA 3600 is incompatible with Windows 10. Now I'm stuck at 800*600 resolution, what should I do to install Windows 8?

I have the same issue, it started right after installing the Windows 10 Creator's Update.

Here is how I fixed it:

• Right-click the desktop, left click "Display Settings"
• Write down what your current resolution is (1920 x 1080 in my case), then change it to 800 x 600 and click "Keep Changes"
• Start Hoyle
• Exit Hoyle
• Right-click the desktop, left click "Display Settings"
• Change the resolution from 800 x 600 back to what you wrote down in step 2) and click "Keep Changes"
• Start Hoyle again and it should still work

Hoyle now works under the original resolution of 1920 x 1080 for me so this appears to be some glitch with the Windows 10 Creators Update fixed by changing the resolution and changing it back.
