Windows 10: Im trying to install C++ 2019 Redistributable Arm64 but it wont work at all

error while installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package (x64)

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:



Method 1: Reset components



We can try resetting the Windows components and see if that helps.

1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select Run as administrator.
   
3. Type or paste the command and hit enter:
   
   net stop wuauserv
   
   net stop cryptSvc
   
   net stop bits
   
   net stop msiserver
   
   ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
   
   ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
   
   net start wuauserv
   
   net start cryptSvc
   
   net start bits
   
   net start msiserver
   
4. Close command prompt window.
   

Method 2: Remove Visual C++ and reinstall



I would also suggest you to check if Visual C++ is already installed. To check type appwiz.cpl in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter. If Visual C++ is already installed, I would suggest you to try uninstalling it and then installing it. To
uninstall Visual C++, refer the section Uninstall from the Control Panel (for programs)
under Uninstall or remove apps and programs in the article

Repair or remove programs in Windows 10.



Method 3: Run DISM Command



You may also want to try running the DISM command and see if that helps.
To do this, refer the steps mentioned in the article Using System File Checker
in Windows 10.

C++ Redistributable wont install

I have a new MSI GS63 stealth and I am trying to install solidworks on it, however it throws an error because I need the 2008 C++ redistributable. I then went online to microsoft to download it but it will not let me complete the intsall. The error it
gives is "Error 1935". any suggestions ?

On method 2, I am unable to find the folder.

On method 3, there is no C++ Redistributable 2019 installed yet it's asking for it to be removed.
