Windows 10: I'm using Paint 3D, and I cannot use anything in the "3D library" tab.

Anytime I click on a model I've searched for in that tab, it shows different versions of the model for a second off to the side, and then it just says, "We couldn't place this. Try again later."

It's extremely aggravating. Try again later? What kind of advice is that? All models behave this way, and I would appreciate some advice trying to get around this problem.

Paint 3D Library

When I create a 3D object in Paint 3D and upload it to my Remix account, how long does it
take to appear in the Paint 3D Library?

 

Where is the Paint 3D Executable?

Paint 3D is a modern app, which doesn't use executables like older classic applications.

If you want to associate file formats with Paint 3D as the default, you have to do the following.

Point a JPEG file

Right click it

Click Properties

Click the General tab

Click Change

Choose Paint 3D in the list

Click OK

Click Apply then OK

Repeat the same step for a BMP file.

or

Click Start > Settings > Apps > Default apps

Scroll to the bottom

Click Choose default apps by file type

Scroll down to JPEG and Bitmap

Click on the current associated application then choose Paint 3D from the list.

 

Copyright on Paint 3D 3D Library Models

Hello,

I am developing an application for my Bachelor's Thesis and I would like to include 3D models using templates from the Paint 3D library. The Thesis (including the app) will not be published and will only be given to the people responsible for grading it.

I have read the "Use of Copyrighted Content" section and the EULA, but the information was quite unspecific.

Am I allowed to use the 3D-models from the library or am I violating the copyright rules? Would it be sufficient to quote Microsoft as the source of the models?
