Windows 10: Image Preview not working.

So I've been having an issue for a while now, and none of my image files will preview. The Icons are just the generic jpg icon, so I can't just make the icons bigger and look either. PDFs, .ai, .eps, those all preview just fine. Only image files; jpgs, pngs, tiffs, none of them will preview.

I've tried a bunch of different things from around the web. Changing the setting, turning everything off and back on again, disc clean up, resetting all the settings, clearing thumbnails, and i'm sure more I can't remember off the top of my head. Nothing seems to be working, and as a graphic designer with folders full of "element1.jpg, element2.jpg, element3.jpg, element4.jpg" it makes it really hard to find things.

Anyone have an suggestions that might help fix this??

The Preview pane shows the contents of certain files selected in File Explorer. For images, it is a thumbnail preview.

If you are unable to preview in File explorer, I suggest you to try the below steps.

1. Open a new File Explorer window and click the View tab from the ribbon toolbar.
   
2. Click Options, and then click Change folder and search options to open Folder Options dialog.
   
3. Check the Show preview handlers in preview pane box, and click/tap on OK.​
