    Windows 10 on Mac Pro with Bootcamp


    I don't think it has anything to do with Bootcamp. At least one person has suggested it may be due to using WHQL NVidia drivers, but I haven't seen any verification of this.

    Issue installing BootCamp drivers for Windows 10

    I found the fix to this problem. I installed Win10 on my 15inch Macbook pro with bootcamp. I tried several times and bootcamp on windows hung up on Realtek installation each time. Follow these steps to fix:

    1. Go to Bootcamp folder, find Realtek, and install manually (double click Realtek setup.
    2. Go to Task Manager - Click details - find the Realtek task - end task (DO NOT END THE ENTIRE BOOTCAMP TASK)
    3. Installation will continue
    4. All is right in the world.

    Installing Windows 10 on 2017 iMac via Bootcamp problems.

    Hello. I am having problems with installing Windows 10 on my Apple 2017 iMac via Bootcamp. When I am in the Windows installation, after I have confirmed what version of Windows I want to install, I get a pop up that says: “Windows cannot locate the disc
    and partition specified in the Unattend answer file’s <ImageInstall> setting. Make sure the setting references a valid partition and restart the installation” and it cancels my installation and reboots into MacOS.
