  1. IME Display

Whenever I turn on PC, there is No IME display at the bottom right corner of the monitor.

and then I go to "setting" -> Time & language -> Language. that's all I did. I just went to "Setting"

language section and didn't do any action. Then IME display pops up at the monitor.

Right after each time when I turn on PC, I go to "setting" section to activate IME display.

Display language set-up is as follows:

    1. Match Microsoft Windows <Default>

    2. English

    3. Korean

Is there any way that I can resolve this issue?

    Thank you

  2. Japanese IME - How to have menus in English?

The default display language for the Microsoft IME is "Automatic", and occasionally it decides for whatever reason to change from English to Japanese or vice versa.
At any rate, you can correct the issue without removing any language packs via the following steps. I'm going to assume that your Windows display language is in English, but your IME is set to display in Japanese.

    1. Navigate thus: Control Panel -> Region & Language -> Keyboards &
      Languages -> Change Keyboards
    2. Highlight "Microsoft IME" under the Japanese (Japan) keyboard section of the "Installed services" list
    3. Select "Properties"
    4. Under the ""全股" tab, you will see an option at the bottom "メニューおよびダイアログで使用する言語" which is the IME display language option. Change this to "英語" (English) and save your changes (the buttons are in the same order as they are in the English UI, "Okay", "Cancel", "Apply", and "Help".

The next time you reopen the IME in the language bar, it should display in English.

  3. Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

    Hi Maheen,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

    • Incorrect settings.
    • Corrupt or outdated display driver.
Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

    Method 2:

If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

    • Right-click on the Start Button and click on
      Device manager.
    • Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
    • Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
    • In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
    • In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.
Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

    Step 2:

Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.
