Windows 10: In game sound problems

I don't know if this is from the windows itself necessarily, but it's a possibility. So, I have a computer (laptop) with Windows 10 on it. The problem that I'm experiencing is quite annoying, and it makes certain things very difficult. Some games (on Steam) have only half of the audio actually working. For example, when I enter the game, it's lacking background music(which, i know for a fact that the game has, as I've seen on youtube and otger sources), but I can hear the sound of pressing any button. I also can't hear the people talking, or making noise, which is very crucial in this specifix game, as it is very sound based. Do you know any possible way to solve this problem?

Sound problem

Hi,

We need to investigate further so that we can identify the cause of the issue. We suggest running the Troubleshooter and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

• Type and select Troubleshooting on the Search bar/Cortana.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Select Playing Audio under Sound.
• Follow the steps that will be provided.

If the steps does not work. We suggest downloading a fresh copy of the audio driver from Realtek and see if it helps.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
