  1. In-GameAdvertising opens Scamware Webpage

Since yesterday the Microsoft Games (XBox on Win 10) relink in their In-Game advertisements to scamware webpages. This results in loading Webpages in the background that display Scam Alerts regarding virus findings together with download "repair" links that will download further maleware to the PC, as well as relinks to dubious Windows Utility Tools that als include Trojans.

Bad enough that this happens to Microsoft, but worse that it is still ongoing. Would be great if Microsoft can fix/secure their Advertisement Framework!

    :)

    In-GameAdvertising opens Scamware Webpage

A webpage which cannot be deleted.

All apps » Internet Explorer » options:

    • settings » advanced settings » Get suggestions from Bing as I type: off
    • settings » Data Sense savings: off (otherwise, you surf via a proxy server at Microsoft premises)
    • settings » delete history
    • taps: please, close everything
Now, if you get that webpage, your network operator is forced to block it. Anyway, you should not see any previous favorites or addresses anymore after the steps above. Or?
