Windows 10: In Paint small objects not movable

    In MS Paint you can no longer move very small objects (smaller than .3 inches square...about 6 mm square). Started with latest Windows update.

    How to copy a Paint object

    I've been using MS Paint for many years. The other day I copied and pasted an object into Paint, edited it, then needed to copy it so I could paste it to where it needed to be. Apparently 'Copy' is something I don't do very often because I couldn't do
    it. No matter what I tried, Cut and Copy stayed greyed out. Finally, something I did brought Cut and Copy to life and I could then Copy. Now I need do that all over again with another object and am not having the same luck I had the other day. Lighting up
    Cut and Copy is just not happening for me today - and I haven't been able to coax an answer out of Google either. So I am here. I would greatly appreciate any information, any wish to offer about how to light up Cut and Copy in MS Paint. All suggestions, ideas,
    comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.

    Is there a way to "Free Rotate" an object in Paint?

    Hello Elizabeth,

    In paint, you can only rotate an object by 90 and 180 degrees. If you would like to free rotate an object, you can use other apps such as Word and PowerPoint. Just select and cut the object from Paint, paste it on Word or PowerPoint, rotate it from there by
    your preferred angle, cut it again from Word or PowerPoint, and paste it on Paint.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Right click on the picture.
    • Click on open with.
    • Select paint.
    • You will be able to see the picture in paint.
