In the last unnecessary update in Photo gallery certain information is lost after I crop and save photos as a new image. I want my GPS information to be retained as I upload images to Inaturalist but it disappears. Can you change that?

Crop a picture in windows 10 live photo viewer and permission needed for certain functions

1> Why do I need permission to save certain files in certain places? How do I override that?

2> Plus, I can't crop pictures in Windows Live photo gallery...the crop symbol is there but it is a dead zone and won't activate..I know I can crop in pictyure viewer but I want to crop in Live Photo Gallery.

So many hoops to jump through with W10! Windows 7 was way easy compared to this...

• To which program are you exactly using the crop tool? Photos App or Office 2016?
• You mentioned crop tool is not working properly when Photos App is used. Have you tried to close it, and check if the issue persists?

Rotating photos while cropping

When I am cropping a photo in Windows Live Photo Gallery, I no longer [in Windows 10] see a button for Rotate Frame and cannot find a way to turn a vertical photo into a horizontal by cropping. Help!
