    In the middle of installing Windows, lost my product ID.


    Hey I'm in the middle of installing Windows 10 PRO edition as we speak and just realized I lost my product key. Is there a way I can get it without being on my Windows as I know how to find it via control panel like on the account it was bought or is there a way to cancel the installation and revert to my old Windows 10 I'm re-installing Windows 10.

    It would be easier if there is a way to revert to my original Window's 10 as I'm not sure If I know the account it was bought under If you even can view the product ID from the account

    Hi Russell,

    We appreciate the information you've provided regarding the product ID. To resolve your concern, we suggest that you do the following steps:

    • Click on Start and type: Command Prompt.
    • Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
    • Type: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey.
    • Press Enter. That should give you the product key to type in the activation.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Lost my product ID

    I have a legal copy of MSOffice 2070 and 2016. But because I was off sick for several weeks, I lost the product ID for both products. Since I have had them installed on my PC Wouldn't at least on of those IDs are some place on my hard drive or even in the registry ?
    If so, is there some sort of an app that would find it for me? Thanks,,Frank
