INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE after deleting driver and restarting normally

Hello. I went to plug in my external HDD, which did not function at all on my PC, however it did totally fine on an other PC. The problem affected every single USB storage device, including flash drives, so I deleted the "Intel eXtensible Host USB 3.0" driver and restarted. The part before shutting down the OS took longer than expected. And after the restart, I was greeted with a "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error.

Now, this is where the good part begins. I am sure my SSD is OK, since I ran chkdsk and it did not find anything. I ran DISM, it did nothing. I also ran the usual bootrec commands trio bootrec /rebuildbcd, bootrec /fixmbr & bootrec /fixboot, however "bootrec /rebuildbcd" reported 0 Windows installations and "bootrec /fixboot" stopped because of an "access denied" error. Because of the latter error, I tried "bootsect /nt60 SYS", which caused a completely different error to appear: "WINDOWS\System32\winload.exe is missing or corrupt", with error code 0xc000000f.

I even tried bcdboot, that also did not help at all. I even tried the usual bootrec commands with a Windows 8.1 bootable USB, that did nothing either.

I'm at a complete loss. Did the driver uninstallation cause the issue, or did just the boot files get corrupt? Can I repair Windows without reinstalling?

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

How to fix INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE - Windows 10 Pro

If you can get into safe mode, go into device manager and uninstall any hardware listed under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. When you uninstall the controller, check the box for delete the driver software for this device. Then try to reboot into normal mode.

Deleted icons stay on desktop (not in desktop folder)

I can only suggest that you
1 Add a list of steps you have already taken.
2 Add a comment about restarting the computer. Do the deleted icons disappear then?
2 Add a comment explaining if any Desktop items do delete correctly and whether or not there are any significant differences between those that do delete correctly and those that don't.
3 Add a list of any OS tweaks you have done & any third-party OS-related utilities you have run.

I assume you have already reinstalled your display driver.
I don't see a Repair install as being relevant. Repair Install - TenForumsTutorials

    INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE after Windows Update

My Windows 10 Pro PC received the latest round of updates, and when it restarted, it bluescreens with the error INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

I did a system restore to a previous restore point, and everything booted and ran perfectly, but of course it then goes out to get the latest updates, and the same thing happens with it bluescreening and throwing the INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error.

I followed many suggestions from a Google Search including disconnecting all drives other than the boot drive, running chkdsk /f on the boot drive, allowing Windows 10 to "auto-fix startup problems", and several other things, and it always bluescreens.

I temporarily disabled the Windows Update service so it doesn't go out and auto-grab the updates, but at some point, I will need to apply updates, and I expect future updates to result in the same bluescreen error.

    Suggestions?
