Windows 10: Incorrect file size on Windows 10 even after version 1903 update

Hi community,


I'm desperate to find a solution for this problem.


I copied my Camera folder from my phone to my laptop running W10 version 1803 a couple of months ago. Yesterday I tried to move the files to an external HD when I realised that, instead of around 50GB of pics and videos, I had... 69TB!!! O_O


I've tried almost every solution given on the Internet. I was hoping that installing the latest Windows update would work (now I'm on W10 Home version 1903) but nothing happened.







The size of the pictures is insane (around 33GB each)





I can't do anything with them (open, copy), I tried to compress/uncompress, I checked the folder name length, I changed the file's names, but nothing seems to work.


I hope that Microsoft will check this again and fix it in the next release, or at least provide a workaround. I really don't know what else can be done. Any hints?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

If you update to version 1903 from inside Windows, the download size will be approx. 3.3 - 3.7GB

If you want to clean install Windows 10 or use the Windows 10 ISO file to upgrade Windows 10 to version 1903, then the download size is approx. 4.9GB
