Windows 10: incorrect registration choice personal and not business

Tonight I made a mistake with my new business laptop I told ms it was personal and not business.

I also set up a new ms account with the intention of buying office 365 for business.

I think my incorrect choice of personal is the reason that ms now won't let me buy office for business - my error.

can I go back and change the registration please.

I suggest you to create a new Microsoft Account For personal use follow the steps below and check if it helps. Another account which you’re using now you can use it for business i.e. (old Microsoft account)

  Go to the
  Microsoft account sign-up page and tap or click
  Create account.
  
• 
  In the User name box enter your existing email address, or tap or click
  Get a new email address to create an Outlook or Hotmail address.
  
• 
  Fill out the rest of the form, then tap or click
  Create account.

I'm not all that computer-savvy and was not able to follow your instructions with confidence, but did use Superfly's S.M.A.C.C., which put my new Theme in the list under Personalizations. Now when I wake from Hibernation, I need only to go to Personalizations/Themes and click on my new Theme. Voila, everything is fixed instantly.

Of course if I had step-by-step guidance for creating the Scheduled Task (and could be sure I didn't screw something up in the process!), that would be ideal. But for now I'm in business and very appreciative of your guidance.

 

welcome screen is not asking if i like the spotlight choice

One of the possible reasons why your laptop is not asking if you like the spotlight choice might be because the Windows spotlight is not set as your lock screen background. To address this concern, we suggest enabling Windows spotlight as your lock screen
background. To do so, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Personalization and then select Lock screen.
• Under Background, click on the drop down menu and make sure to click on Windows spotlight.
