Windows 10: Increased restart and power on time

I have a new laptop there restart and power on time has been increased earlier is it used to take 17 seconds for start and 7 seconds to power on but now it is taking 1 minute 5 seconds to restart and 17 seconds to power on

To troubleshoot this error, you may follow the steps I have given below.

Here are the steps:

• Click the Start button.
• Go to Settings.
• Select System and then Power and Sleep.
• Choose Additional Power settings.
• Click on Change Settings that are currently unavailable.
• Uncheck "Turn on Fast Startup".
• Click Save changes.
• Restart computer.

Let's see how it goes.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Increasing power limit without increasing clocks?

That is normal. Actual boost clocks are about 70 MHz higher than listed boost clocks. My 980 does the same, but increasing the power limit ONLY increases clocks if the card was throttling... you screenshot show that you haven't actually increased the power limit.

likewise with my 708 TIs and my 780. I have 780 TI reference, listed boost clock for my card is 928, but actual boost clock is 1020.
