    Increasingly annoying network behavior...


    In the last couple of days Windows 10 (on an MS Surface Pro 4) starts to seriously annoy me!
    Again and again I suddenly can't get a network connection! In such situation WiFi is typically disabled and refuses to be activated (i.e. no matter how often I click the icon, it remains dark, not light-blue) and the Ethernet connection is labeled as "Connected" but obviously is NOT. If I then reboot things are back to normal.
    This starts really getting on my nerves!*Mad
    So far to reliability and stability to Windows 10...

    Still have the issue ... I'm amazed there isn't a fix for this. Its gotten increasingly annoying over time.

    Windows 10 - Printer Notifications

    On windows 7 Go to....

    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Notification Area Icons

    Under "Behavior" you will find "Drop Down Menus", most will be saying "Only Show Notifications"

    Click on the arrow for the menu for "ScanToPCActivationApp" and select "Hide Icon And Notifications"

    This will get rid of the annoying popup without permanently disabling scan to computer.

    HP software will disable the printer for you at increasingly frequent intervals.

    "Its a feature, not a bug"

    Windows 10 is similar but "Hidden" for your "Safety".
