Windows 10: Initial slowness

After startup, my Win10 laptop goes through a period of very slow response lasting 3-10 min. It's been like this for a few months. It's bad enough that I can't do hardly anything. Windows appears to be fully loaded, with the desktop icons in place and everything looking normal. In task manager, disk traffic is at 100%. In the list of services using disk resources, service host is often at the top, but there are others incl Eset, firefox, Edge, system, HP smart etc. Laptop has i5 2-core chipset @2.6 GHz with 8 GB Ram. Up to date. Any ideas?ofe

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

From the screenshot that you have provided, I understood that it’s not the issue with the disk usage. The slowness might be due to the memory usage.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run maintenance task and check if it helps.
