Windows 10: Input Devices Keyboard, mouse, headphones Stop Working On PC Randomly.

In the last month my keyboard, mouse, headphones, and microphone would randomly stop working. The devices still lit up but no inputs worked. I had reset my bios and it had fixed it but, it keeps happening every week. Is this a motherboard issue I can solve via settings, or is it something different?

Bluetooth devices interfere with mouse/keyboard input

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right section for my issue Anyhow, while using my keyboard and mouse for work I've had a really irritating issue where they would constantly spaz out at random. They would either:

• Randomly disconnect/reconnect
• Hinder my ability to click on certain windows or even the taskbar unless I ctr+alt+delete which restores the control temporarily
• Have a mind of its own such as spamming the same last used key for a second or two

However I recently narrowed down the source and realized this issue only occurs when the laptop is connected to my bluetooth earbuds. (Occurred with two different bluetooth earbud models however both by Samsung if that matters) Just an FYI but the keyboard and mouse are wired and are connected via a KVM switch if that makes any difference. Any ideas as to why certain bluetooth devices if not all impair the input for my mouse and keyboard would be greatly appreciated.

 

Keyboard and mouse stop working randomly

Hi Microsoft,

For the past week or so I've been having an issue where my wireless keyboard and mouse stop working at random moments. When the computer starts up everything works fine, and after half an hour or so the input device suddenly becomes unresponsive. Peculiar
thing is that a second USB input device still works when this happens. At other times, the backup USB input device will fail with the primary still working. There seems to be no pattern.

There seems to be no correlation to the active programs when this occurs. I have updated the drivers and followed all steps one would normally take when something like this happens. What can I do to solve this?

Input devices stop working randomly while gaming

I have a Logitech G604 Lightspeed mouse and a G613 Lightspeed keyboard with the G Pro headset that I use with my PC. When I'm playing certain games, the input devices will all cut out at once after a cutscene or randomly as I play. The computer continues to run and the graphics work fine, just lose input devices (sound, mouse, and keyboard). I previously suspected this was a USB issue and switched to using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard but I still get the same problem regardless. I'll include some of my PC specs in case that is helpful.

CPU: Intel I9 12900KF

GPU: AMD Radeon 6700XT

Memory: 16GB

PSU: 650 Watts

Motherboard: MSI Mag B660 Tomahawk
