Windows 10: Input signal out of range. Current settings 67.2 khz x 60 hz change settings to 1920 x 1080...

So i have this message displayed and its a black screen, what can i do to get this back to normal? Its a HP pavillion screen, windows 10.

• The monitor cannot accommodate the set refresh rate (e.g. 60Hz).
  
• Outdated graphics card driver

• What is the maximum possible refresh rate can be set for your monitor (refer to monitor's manual)?

Message on floating on external monitor I've plugged my laptop into, "input signal out of range, change to 1600 x 1050 @ 60 HZ". I have check and the display is set to 1600 x 1050. I have also checked and the monitor's drivers are current. The monitor
is displaying, just little fuzzy.

Any suggestions?

 

1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list

my monitor has 1920 X 1080 resolution, but 1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list. how can I get 1920 X 1080 resolution listed?
