Windows 10: Inside The Windows 10 Lock Screen We can Set an Application for the Detailed Status, Is...

As I mentioned above we can only select some apps that are in the below drop down it is limited ,if I need to add my own apps in there, Is any way to do this? Please Kindly share the Thoughts on this .... attaching Screenshot for Reference

Mail and Calendar not displayed for Lock Screen Detailed/Quick Status


After I updated from build 10130 to build 10159, I no longer can select Mail or Calendar apps to display Detailed / Quick Status to my lock screen because neither are listed in the drop-list. What must I do to get them back?

 

Windows 10 - Lock Screen quick status apps - not working!

My OS is Windows 10 Pro (with all the latest updates).

The apps are the ones that show as quick status - lock screen. Weather, Calendar, alarms-clock, etc., etc.

Under Lock Screen settings you can choose one, for detailed status on your Lock screen. The other 6 are supposed to show "quick status" on your Lock screen.

Detailed status app, I can get weather (sometimes). The other (MAIL in particular) I can't get at all.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1. Are you aware of any changes made to this computer prior to the issue?
   
2. Are you facing this issue with all the applications or with a specific application?
   
3. What is the version of your Windows 10 computer? (To check the version of your Windows 10, you can refer
   See which version of Windows 10 you have).
   

I suggest you to check if your Windows is up-to-date by going to
Settings > Update and Security > Windows Updates and install all the Windows Updates if there are any.



Check if you have enabled Notification Settings by going to Settings >
System > Click on Notifications & actions from the left pane and enable the option
Get notifications from apps and other senders under Notifications.



Also, scroll down under Notifications & actions settings and enable the notification for any particular application that you wish to receive notifications from.



If you want any application to show on your lock screen in Detailed Status or the
Quick Status, you can customize this setting by going to
Start > Setting > Personalization >
Lock screen.



Scroll down and select the applications that you want to see under
Choose an app to show detailed status and Choose apps to show quick status. If you don’t want any application to display status information on the lock screen, click on each application icon and select
None in the list.



Windows allows a single application to show Detailed Status information on the lock screen and allows up to seven other applications to show Quick Status information.
