Windows 10: Inspect Element ruining my ability to work

I bought a Dell Inspiron 7586 Dec. 8, 2018. I do not use e last couple of months, I've noticed that when writing an email

in Chrome or Firefox, the cursor will go crazy. In the midst of a sentence,

it will jump up and insert the next word or letter in a prevEdgeious paragraph.

THE SENTENCE ABOVE IS AN EXAMPLE. WHILE TYPING '' I DO NOT USE EDGE", THE WORD EDGE

WORD APPEARED SOMEWHERE ELSE ON THE PAGE.

Yesterday, while composing an email, it just decided to close the window all

together, causing the message, content and all to disappear.

I originally thought that the keyboard was too sensitive, as numerous letters will appear in a word.

I am not a computer tech. I reading others complaints and googling I've learned that

these are all the actions of a development tool called Inspect Element, or Inspect.

I've contacted Dell about it, but been told that my warranty is only for hardware, and

this is a SOFTWARE issue. I would have to pay, at least $129 for them to help me

with something that CAME IN THE laptop, and for which most of the hardware techs

(for which I have a warranty) have NO KNOWLEDGE.


Can SOMEONE Please tell me how to deactivate this feature/tool. I can't have

this continued interference as I work.


Why would Microsoft include such a feature, with such

power over the functioning of my laptop, knowing that a general user would not be able to

control, understand and manage Inspect Element's actions?

how do I disable the inspect element pop up in my e-mail? if I try to respond to an e-mail, it will not allow me to respond, and will not allow me to type in a response. if I try to forward an email it will not allow me to remove or edit the e-mail. IE:
remove a E-Mail address. I am not very computer educated and would like a simple step by step instruction to get this fixed. very frustrating.

Are you looking to know how to inspect elements in Internet Explorer or Edge?

In Internet Explorer you can right click the page and select "Inspect Element" from the menu that appears.

In Edge you can go to the menu in the top right corner ( 3 dots) and select "Developer Tools". This will add a new option to the context menu when you right click as well as give you to inspect elements on the fly against the full code of the page in a split
view.

Inspect Element

When I try to copy and paste, when I try to paste, Inspect Element shows up. I didn't have any problems until two weeks ago.

I've read so many people having problems with Inspect Element. But your not offering a fix for this.
