Windows 10: Instability Caused by Windows 10 2004 and Reverting to 1909 didn't Solve the issues completely

My windows was signing out of multiple applications after recent 2004 update. Whenever I restart, OneDrive prompts to sign in and edge browser doesn't remember my Gmail login. I had to login multiple places again after restart.


I could not find a fix so I reverted back to 1909. Now my Windows Mail app closes within few seconds of opening. And I can't Print my Image files as PDF or using any printer. Whenever I print, get an error "Something went wrong". Also not getting any print previews for image files. Rest of the files pdf, docx etc. are printing normally without any problem.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

Revert To Build-1909 From Build-2004

Unfortunately no. The only way to downgrade to an earlier version of Windows 10 is a clean install. You will loose all your installed apps and your user files too.

How 'buggy' is your 2004? If you want to keep your installed apps it may be more practical to try sticking with it. There will be the regular monthly cumulative update next week, expected on Tuesday 14th July, usually issued at 6:00pm UK time. If that doesn't fix your issues, then there may be workarounds we could suggest.

 

Revert To Build-1909 From Build-2004

Hi everyone. I'm currently running Windows 10 Home build-2004 but I find it pretty buggy on my system so would like to revert to build-1909. Unfortunately the 1909 ISO is no longer available on the Microsoft website. Can anybody advise what is the best route to take? I don't have any backups.
