Windows 10: Instagram for Windows 10

I have the latest Win 10-64 bits version installed, up to date and wish to know if it's possible to record and listen voice messages on the official Instagram app developed for Win 10. Every time someone sends me a voice message and I try to listen there I get a message saying I should update the app but even after downloading the latest version of the app I still can't access that feature.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In order to diagnose the issue, we suggest that you try the following methods:

Method 1: Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Kindly run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.
To run it, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type Troubleshooting, and click on
  Troubleshooting from the results.
• On the left pane, click View all.
• Click Windows Store Apps.

Method 2: Clear Windows Store app cache.

We suggest that you manually reset the Windows Store app cache
and then try to download the Instagram app again. To manually reset, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type CMD, and right-click CMD
  from the results.
• Click Run as administrator.
• Type wsreset, and press Enter.

• Are you using the latest version of Instagram app in your PC?

If not, I suggest you to install the latest version of Instagram app and check if it helps.

If doesn't work, I would suggest you to install the app in a compatibility mode and check.

Please follow the steps below:

a. Download the latest Application from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the app setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’
and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
