Windows 10: Install build 10049 over 10041

Discus and support Install build 10049 over 10041 in Windows 10 Virtualization to solve the problem; I'm using VirtualBox and and wonder whether I have to start a new VM for 10049, or whether I install 10049 over 10041.     Install build 10049 over 10041


    I'm using VirtualBox and and wonder whether I have to start a new VM for 10049, or whether I install 10049 over 10041. Anyone tried this?

    BTW, new to the forum so apologize if this post is in the wrong place or something *Smile.

    P.S. the Microsoft site says there is no new .ISO; just do updates and the new build should be installed.

    Stuck in Build 10041

    I have been stuck in Build 10041 for about a month. I can’t install build 10074, it goes to about 95 percent of install and then fails and the reverts back to 10041 The entire process takes about 3 hours is it possible to skip that build and installed
    a newer build?
