Windows 10: Install Samsung SideSync on pc running the latest windows 10 version

Hello windows community.. Referring to a post i was reading earlier this day (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ndows-10/999371d9-771c-4c4d-9a5c-d85af5c1c368) i came with a solution for me.

After installing the Sidesync, i came across the first error: Missing the wmvcore.dll.

I downloaded both the 32 and 64bit version of this dll. Copied the 64 version in Samsung's folder at System files, and the 32version at both Systemfiles x32/Samsung/Sidesync & windows/sys32

My first movement was to download and copy only the 64bit version and i got the obvious 0xc000007b error. By downloading the 32 version and copy it too in my system, that error disappeared and i got another error: Missing wmasf.dll.

I repeat the same procedure as with the wmvcore.dll one, and i got it working. The problem now is that it does not work as i was expecting (i cannot see my A10 as a device in my pc) but that will be another topic.

Samsung Sidesync not working with my S8 on Windows 10

Hi. I tried your suggestions but none of them worked. Do you know if others have problems with Sidesync and Windows 10? What else can I do? Samsung seem to think its a Windows 10 problem.

 

Samsung Sidesync

I tried to install Sidesync on my Samsung Ultabook and despite the successful installation the app won't open and after troubleshooting I received a message saying it was incompatible. Anyone know what to do?

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
