Windows 10: Installation completely frozen

Hello,


I am installing Windows 10. I used the "upgrade tool," so I am not installing off of a USB or anything like that. I double checked using the "Get Windows 10" tool that my system met the eligibility requirements, and it did.


Everything was going fine up until I hit 13%. Then it just froze. The dots are not moving at all. It's the "Installing Windows __%" screen, and it specifically says not to turn off my PC, so I'm not really sure what I should do.


I unplugged any extraneous devices keyboard, mouse, external HDD, and I even disconnected the monitor for a moment. Still stuck.


Does anyone have any advice? How should I proceed?

Outlook is completely frozen

I recently upgraded to Windows 10. Apparently, you no longer have an option to not automatically install updates. So it installed updates this morning, and ever since then, the Outlook is completely frozen. I go into it and it has new emails, but I can't
click them, I can't scroll through my list, or anything. I have restarted my computer but it doesn't help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
