  1. Installation of KB4565483 fails because of missing Containers-ApplicationGuard-Shared-Package

When I try to install KB4565483 I get the following lines in CBS log:

2020-08-02 14:19:53, Info CBS Store corruption, manifest missing for package: Containers-ApplicationGuard-Shared-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1
    2020-08-02 14:19:53, Error CBS Failed to resolve package 'Containers-ApplicationGuard-Shared-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1' [HRESULT = 0x800f0831 - CBS_E_STORE_CORRUPTION]

I have searched for 0x800f0831 and found this page:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/4477073/error-0x800f0831-when-you-install-an-update

But I don't know what would be the ID for that package. I have tried multiple parts of the package name without success.

I have tried to install using Windows Update and also even downloaded the file windows10.0-kb4565483-x64_1f6258cf4f9d8d7986e676c47f3d380003711a61.msu from www.catalog.update.microsoft.com. The logs have the same messages regardless of the method used.

    Thanks,

    Constantino

Installation of KB4565483 fails because of missing Containers-ApplicationGuard-Shared-Package

    KB4534132 & KB4565483 Failing to install - Error 0x8000ffff

I just received a new Dell XPS 8940 a few days ago and have been attempting to get the system completely up to date. I have updated all system drivers and BIOS using Dell's update tools and attempted to update Win10 using the Windows Update utility. Quite
a few Win10 updates were installed, but my system is failing the install of KB4534132 & KB4565483 with Error 0x8000ffff. I have performed all of the advanced troubleshooting suggestions on from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4089834/windows-10-troubleshoot-problems-updating.

    Results of troubleshooting:

    1. Rename SW Distribution Folders: No effect
    2. Temporarily remove 3rd party security: Currently running McAfee LiveSafe. Disabling made no difference.
    3. Repair Hard Drive errors: No effect
    4. Perform a clean boot into Windows: No effect
    5. Restore and repair system files: Fails. "DISM failed. No operation was performed." I have the log file I can upload if that is useful.
    6. Perform a clean installation of Windows 10: Attempted running the RefreshWindowsTool and it failed as well with the following errors: Error code 0x80072F76 - 0x20016
Additionally, I have tried using the Windows 10 Update Assistant tool (Fails) and have tried manually downloading each of the updates to install them. All attempts to make this work have failed.

This is a new PC Win10 image from Dell, with no personal files on it, so I don't mind starting over. I had only started installing a few applications but have since removed them to ensure there are no conflicts.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Regards,

    Jeremey
