Windows 10: Installation stuck at 'Restarting PC...'

Discus and support Installation stuck at 'Restarting PC...' in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I set mine to the 30th and got this: [img] So I don't think it matters what your local time is set to.     If you want to criticize, fine. But for some the upgrade was no longer available when it was 12am 30th July at their end. This advice was for such people to try because it added time to my timer. Sorry you can't appreciate that.

    And that is pure myth. For one thing, in Microsoft's time zone (and I am 1 hour due north of Microsoft) their own countdown in their own timezone expires at 3 am on Saturday, 30 July.

    Installation stuck at 'Restarting PC...'

    I don't have any computers with the Get Windows X app left, so I can't test it, but I'm wondering if that stops working based on local time?
    In which case changing the local clock would enable upgrade for 2hours 30 mins for those of us where it's already 30th July.

    You would be able to upgrade but not activate I suspect. At least not until you buy a key.
