    I regretfully did not doenough looking into reparations of my hard drives before I decided to try and jumping into installing Linux Mint onto my PC recently. After playing with it for a day or two, I decided Windows was an easier OS for me to start taking more seriously and learning more about it. Unfortunately I had already reparationed my drives and cannot remember exactly which settings I used when I had removed Windows 10 and reparationed my hard drives. Somehow when I made the switch back to Windows 10, the repartitioning of the drives wasn't completely successful as my BIOS now shows 8 i

    That would be safer indeed. To avoid any confusion, i would suggest you unplug your 3TB during installation.

    After the installation, plug the 3TB back online. At that point, both hard drives will be bootable, so you'll have to set the highest priority to your 1TB in the bios boot sequence.

    Boot on your freshly installed linux mint, and delete the old linux mint partition + associated swap, then run the sudo update-grub command, and your windows partition should be added to the bootloader menu.

    Use EasyBCD to add a boot entry for Linux Mint if you installed Linux Mint to the right partition.
