Windows 10: "Installer is no longer responding."

So I tried downloading software that my friend recommended to me, and for some reason, my installer doesn't work anymore. It was working fine like a week before but now, what I do to try to fix it is starting to become useless. Did I do something wrong? Or did my system just decide to be corrupt for some reason? I've been pressing the retry button for like 5 minutes but the installer doesn't want to respond.​

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
