  1. Installing a new SSD & want to know my best options for Windows 10 reinstall

My laptop has a 1TB HDD & a 120GB SSD. I'm removing the 120GB SSD & replacing it with a new 500GB SSD. My Windows 10 startup files are all on the old SSD. Is the simplest option to just copy it to the HDD & the computer will automatically start up from it when I change everything? I would love to just clone it to the HDD drive, install the new SSD, start up the computer & clone everything back over to the new SSD, then wipe the HDD clean & start fresh with everything. Several sites have recommended using EaseUS to clone Windows 10 to a flash drive but for some reason I can't get it to copy. Please help.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
