Windows 10: installing adobe dc in admin not owner

I have been trying to open adobe dc which I just downloaded and installed with no problem. however, it will not accept my admin. account name and seems to insist I use owner which someone or thing changed the password. I have tried to delete owner file with no luck. My new admin. account is listed and when i add password it goes straight to owner again. Please advise.

Adobe Acrobat DC Install

I downloaded the Adobe Acrobat DC and it keeps shutting off telling me windows will let me know when they find a solution. I've been using the Adobe for quite sometime since it is the only free pdf program that allows me to print both letter and legal
in the same document. I have removed it and installed it as administrator too. Nothing seems to work. Anyone that has a suggestion, please help.

If you are talking about the free Adobe Reader DC, try installing the previous version, Reader X1 -

Click HERE to download it from the Adobe Website. It will have the same functionality and has worked on Windows 10 without issue for over a year!

If you mean the full paid for Adobe Acrobat DC, then on the Adobe forums there are quite a lot of users having issue trying to install it, and Adobe are working on a patch currently . . .

Adobe Reader not opening

I re-installed Adobe Reader DC. It worked for a few hours and then stopped working.

Windows diagnostics said the program is incompatible.

What should I try next?
