Windows 10: Installing CorelDRAW X4 on Windows 10?

Hello,

I have tried installing CorelDRAW Graphic Suite X4 on a laptop with Windows 10.

The program is from 2011, but it is quite sufficient for me. On an older PC (with Windows 7) it works fine.

But just as I was about to install it on WIN10, the installation was interrupted with the message "CorelDRAW X4 cannot run on Windows". What is the reason for this, and can I fix it somehow?

Windows Menu notactive after installing Coreldraw X4

After installing Coreldraw X4 (which is embedded in a embrodery program) the windows menu is not active and only the programs on the homescreen can be activated.

After deinstalling the Coreldraw X4 the Windows Menu is back again.

I have newer versions of Corel but they are not compatible with the embrodery program.

If I install one of the programs to have a old windows 7 menu the menu is also works but this is crappy solution.

Is there a solution to get the windows menu back working.

Thanks for your reply - however this does not answer my query as to why CorelDraw worked perfectly fine with the Windows 10 upgrade, but will not work with the clean install of Windows 10.

This would suggest that the problem is with Windows rather than CorelDraw.

Incidentally, CorelDraw is still working fine on my other computers that only have the Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.

Only the clean install of Windows 10 is preventing CorelDraw from working.

Any other ideas?
